Summary (from goodreads.com):
Sick of vampires? So is Meena Harper.
But her boss is making her write about them anyway, even though Meena doesn't believe in them.
Not that Meena isn't familiar with the supernatural. See, Meena Harper knows how you're going to do die (not that you're going to believe her; no one ever does).
But not even Meena's precognition can prepare her for what happens when she meets-then makes the mistake of falling in love with-Lucien Antonescu, a modern-day prince with a bit of a dark side...a dark side a lot of people, like an ancient society of vampire-hunters, would prefer to see him dead for.
The problem is, he already is dead. Maybe that's why he's the first guy Meena's ever met that she could see herself having a future with. See. while Meena's always been able to see everyone else's future, she's never been able to look into her own.
And while Lucien seems like everything Meena has ever dreamed of in a boyfriend, he might turn out to be more like a nightmare.
Now might be a good time for Meena to start learning to predict her own future...If she even has one.
I'm pretty sure everyone has heard of Meg Cabot (the author) before. I've always known her as the writer who kicks butt and can write some awesome romantic novels for adults and teens. However, I did not expect her to write a book about vampires. And since I am a vampire fan (even though I do like werewolves a little better) I was super excited to read this book. It's about a woman named Meena and she hates vampires. She also has a special ability which is that she is able to see when someone is going to die, so her relationships don't always turn out good. And what's worse is that her boss is making her incorporate vampires into the show. Meena isn't happy about the show change but then she meets a guy which turns out to be a vampire. And of course she does the unthinkable.
Overall, I loved the freshness this novel portrayed and how each and every one of her characters were interesting. This is only my second Meg Cabot read but I am not yet disappointed and if I've heard correctly-no matter how many of her books I read, I will not be.
Will I reread it?
Yes, I really liked the whole premise of the book (because it seems like there are no vampire haters out there) and I loved seeing a new side of Meg Cabot's writing. I defiantly recommend this book to teens and adults alike who are looking for a sizzling read.

I've heard about this! It seems good. But...I don't know...I'm a little sick of the whole human girl falling in love with vampire guy thing.
