Summary (from barnesandnoble.com):
What's so cool about nice guys?
Everyone at Tess's new school warns her that Micah is bad news—a heartbreaker. But she can't ignore her attraction to this brooding, brilliant, friendless emo hottie who can turn on the charm—or heart-shredding scorn—at a moment's notice. Starting over in a new town after her parents' split isn't easy for Tess, and Micah feels like her first real connection. But what happens when their bond suddenly feels like shackles? And Micah starts to remind Tess of her freakishly controlling father?
When Tess has lunch at her new school, she notices a boy named Micah and is instantly drawn to him. She starts asking around about him and then starts talking to Micah herself. They even hang out and watch movies, and even slip in a few kisses. But the thing is that Micah is so caught up with another girl that he says he would marry her. Maybe Micah's not everything he's cracked up to be.
Uh...okay I don't know about you but I'm not really into the whole abuse relationship thingy. I don't like reading about some girl getting verbally abused by some guy and she thinks it's okay. It's not! But don't get me wrong, it was an overpowering and beautifully written story that almost left me in tears. It was so real and emotional but I didn't like it as much as I hoped I would.
Will I reread it?
No, it wasn't what I expected and left me feeling depressed. On the other hand, you could love it and have it be your favorite book. So if you think this is your kind of plot line, go for it! And if you do end up reading it, make sure you get back to me, because I want to know your opinion.
I'm holding a giveaway for this book (since I didn't like it, I wanted someone else to have the opportunity to) so you can enter here.

Audrey-Lol you defiantly should do that! And you're right, everyone has their own opinions
hmmm - looks different. I don;t know how I feel if he's kissing her and wants to be with someone else??
I think I would check it out a little more if I see it but it's probably not my thing either.
A good story about abuse is Split by Swati Avashti..handles it REALLY well and even has some humor in it. I know that sounds strange but it's a good one!
uh, I hate books that leaves me depressed. Aren't books supposed to make you happy?
