Summary (from amazon.com):
Adopted by the Alpha of a werewolf pack after a rogue wolf brutally killed her parents right before her eyes, fifteen-year-old Bryn knows only pack life, and the rigid social hierarchy that controls it. That doesn't mean that she's averse to breaking a rule or two.

But when her curiosity gets the better of her and she discovers Chase, a new teen locked in a cage in her guardian's basement, and witnesses him turn into a wolf before her eyes, the horrific memories of her parents' murders return. Bryn becomes obsessed with getting her questions answered, and Chase is the only one who can provide the information she needs.

But in her drive to find the truth, will Bryn push too far beyond the constraints of the pack, forcing her to leave behind her friends, her family, and the identity that she's shaped?

I expected great things from this book, just mainly due to the summary. And I wasn't dissapointed. The plot line was unique (after so many werewolf books have been published) and kept me reading. Bryn, was a very strong character who went against the pack rules and didn't care-she was overall very stubborn and kicked butt. And then Callem (the pack alpha) was a little too demanding and got a little annoying. And even though nothing much happens until the first 100 pages, Jennifer Lynn Barnes still draws you in.

Raised By Wolves is about a girl named Bryn whose parents were killed by a rabid werewolf when she was young. And Bryn was also beaten pretty badly, so Callem bit Bryn to save her. After the accident, Bryn didn't have any family left so Calem and the rest of the pack raised her. But Bryn is a very rebelious teenager and she doesn't let any of the pack in. She keeps to herself and refuses to open up to anyone. That is until Callem starts keeping secrets...

Will I reread it?
Probably, I love reading about werewolves and this one was really good. I recommend it to any Twilight fan. The only thing I wish there would have been more of is romance. To tell you the truth, there wasn't really any. And I love romance, so that was kind of dissapointing.

This book was given to me by the publisher in exchange for an honest review and no compensation.

Glad you liked the book! I'm not a Twilight fan so I probably won't be reading it. Great review, though!

Wolves without romance? Is that possible? Sounds like an interesting book, though. Thanks!

I have this on my TBR list. I thought maybe it would be a little like Blood and Chocolate. Too bad about the lack of romance. That is disappointing. Thanks for sharing your review!

The summary of this book sounded so good but I really like books with more of a romance so I'm still on the fence about getting this one or not.
